The Star Building

Wilmington, Delaware

Completed in 2010

Pettinaro certainly raised eyebrows in the real estate community when it announced the construction of a 163,500 SF Class A office building on the site of a former industrial building at the Wilmington riverfront. This announcement came during a historic low in the office market demand. Having no signed leases, Pettinaro Construction Company, Inc. completed the seven-story building late 2010. The Star Building was built on a site across from the Christina Crescent Building, which was completed by Pettinaro just a few years prior. In April 2011, Pettinaro announced its first tenant, Delaware based law firm, Grant & Eisenhofer, PA. Since then, the Star Building has become home to additional regional and national tenants such as DuPont, Navient, Bernardon, and UniCare.
