A Historic Move for Pettinaro Residential
Nearly forty years ago Verino Pettinaro and Ed Davidson opened Mid-Atlantic Realty. Over the years, Verino and Ed continued to build and purchase over 2,600 apartments which MAR has successfully managed. While Pettinaro has managed its commercial properties and condominiums for over 40 years, it was not until the first Tower in Greenville was built that we began to manage apartments. Currently we successfully manage the three Towers at Greenville, Village Park at Paladin, and the Village at Blue Hen in Dover apartment communities.
Over the last 20 years, Pettinaro Companies has gradually shifted from a construction based company to a professional real estate management and construction company. Due to our shift and the direction that we are taking, the next logical step is for us to take on the management of the Pettinaro owned properties. As of January 1, 2014, The Pettinaro Residential Management Team will begin managing the following apartment communities in house: Greenville Place Apartments, Melrose Place Apartments, Possum Park Apartments, Rockwood Apartments, Salem Village Apartments, Village II Apartments, and West Creek Village Apartments.
Pettinaro Construction and Pettinaro Management Teams will continue to provide the construction and commercial real estate services that they have for nearly 50 years. Sandy Esposito has joined the Pettinaro Residential team as Director; ensuring the smooth transition of the communities into the Pettinaro fold. Sally Prendergast, Director of Corporate Services and Marketing, will continue to focus on the Towers at Greenville and our fully furnished and flexible lease corporate business, as well as leading the Marketing efforts for the whole division. Our Team has been laying the ground work for the future of Pettinaro Residential for several years. Our brand is strong and is synonymous with high quality affordable apartment living in all of the best locations in Delaware. We are thankful to Mid-Atlantic for the many years of service they provided to our residents, and we are excited by the opportunity to continue to provide the best customer service possible to all of our communities!
